katkoota and 100% right just like puppy mills, there are backyard breeders which is when un-responsible people breed unhealthy dogs to over produce which leads to very poor quality dogs, and they don’t live for they’re syandard life length. Not saying this person in particular is a backyard breeder but be VERY picky.

Viewers, BE VERY CAREFUL. Don’t buy your maltese from anyone you see selling. Go to qualified maltese breeders who work hard to better the maltese standard and produce healthy maltese who will live long enough.

In a maltese stndard, there is no such thing as *T cup* maltese

uhh, yeah there actually is. I’ve heard that term since I was like 3 years old. And I am 17 now. Maybe breeders refer to them as “runts” most of the time, but other people other than breeders refer to “teacup” or “miniature” dogs. But actually, teacup and miniature dogs are suprisingly two different things.

No, there’s not. No reputable breeder would refer to a dog as ‘teacup’. The ‘teacup’ dogs are runts of the litter bred to other runts to get a tiny dog with no concern for health problems. Look it the fuck up, no person with a brain in their head would say “teacup puppy.” That’s the friggin stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.

It is cute. But you should be ashamed of yourself for being a puppymiller/backyard breeder. No reputable breeder would sell the runts as if they were a separate breed.
Breeders are supposed to improve the breed, not mutilate it.
